Cowbelleros at the Ale House in Sparks

Posted in Extradition 2010 show, Rail City Ale House, The Cowbelleros by Extradition Music on March 10, 2010

We are very excited to announce a partnership with the Ale House at Terrible’s Rail City in Sparks.  For those of you who don’t know, the Ale House is an upgraded dining establishment within the Sparks casino, and they have been putting on blues and jazz nights for some time now.  Now it looks like they want to break into some Extradition Music, and of course, we are more than happy to bring in some great touring and local Americana and Alt-Country shows to their great venue.

Our first show will be headlined by The Cowbelleros, a Reno/Sparks rockabilly group.  The Cowbelleros play a mix of old-timey covers and old-timey originals.  As their bassist, Shawn Buck, told me, they are always writing new material.  They opened for us when we had Wayne “The Train” Hancock in town back in January, and were quite the crowd pleasers.  I was particularly pleased when they ended their show by singing “Folsom Prison Blues” with Wayne himself.

Here are the details:

The Cowbelleros
When: Sa, 3/20, 10pm
Price: $5.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or prior to event at Rail City in Sparks.
